Solanatel LLC takes privacy very seriously and feels it is extremely important that you and your customers (those persons sending text messages) understand our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. If you have sent a text message to the RipTx service (a service of Solanatel LLC) and are wondering what happens to your cell phone number when you send that text message, please read the following paragraph:

Solanatel LLC provides services that may expose cell phone numbers to subscribers of those services. Phone numbers will only be revealed to subscribers if the text message sender does not “opt out” by add a * to the text message. The “opt out” message is always clearly displayed on every sign we produce.

Since “opting out” is not automatic, all involved should carefully consider how to utilize the services, regardless of whether the text message sender has “opted out” or not.

This policy covers how Solanatel LLC treats personal information that it collects and receives, including information related to your past use of Solanatel LLC products and services. Solanatel LLC collects personal information when you register on our website, when you use Solanatel LLC products or services, and when you visit web pages owned by Solanatel LLC.

o Solanatel LLC uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer), www.riptx.com/sslseal.html, encryption when transmitting certain kinds of information, such as financial services information or payment information. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browsers window during SSL transactions that involve credit cards and other forms of payment. Any time Solanatel LLC asks you for a credit card number for payment or for verification purposes, it will be SSL encrypted. The information you provide will be stored securely. Once you choose to store or enter your credit card number, it will not be displayed back to you in its entirety when you retrieve or edit it in the future. Instead of the entire number, you will only see asterisks and either the first four digits or the last four digits of your number.

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.

No Spam Policy:

Solanatel LLC understands that no one likes to be spammed. We will never send out unsolicited messages to any cell phone. We go one step further by allowing anyone making a request to keep their phone number hidden by adding a “*” to the initial text message. We believe that respecting privacy leads to trust and that leads to happy customers.

You can access and correct all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by logging into your account at www.riptx.com/dashboard. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Changes to this Privacy Policy:

Solanatel LLC may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Solanatel LLC account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
